The limitless diversity and beauty of the natural world intrigues me, so nature photography is my main interest. I strive to take my images a step further into the realm of fine art. Nature photography is a powerful expression of the reality and beauty that surrounds us, beauty that we often overlook or ignore. Hopefully my images will help make us aware of the unique treasures we possess, treasures that all of us are entrusted to respect, sustain, and preserve.

Being an avid birder, most of my images are of birds, photographed mainly in the eastern United States. However, my portfolios also include large collections of animal, insect, plant, and landscape images, some of which are included in the Galleries.

In all Galleries you can see a larger and higher resolution image by first mouse clicking on the thumbnail, and then clicking again on the resulting image. Another click on the high resolution image will return you to the original.
